Job Summary
Duties:
- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
- Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
- The ability to identify retrieve and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses radiologist and vascular surgeons
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system
- Groin management post intervention
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Associate degree. OR-Completion of accredited radiographic program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- NJ radiographic licensure.
- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
- Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
Schedule Notes:
- 7am 8pm.
- 3 days a week with a flexed scheduled
- Mon-Fri
