Team/ Project description

At Sabre were passionate about building software that solves this role you will plan design develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Experience designing deploying and operating infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge of Compute Engine GKE Cloud Run VPC networking load balancers and firewalls
• Proficiency with IAM service accounts and secure access patterns
• Handson experience with Cloud Storage Cloud SQL and related GCP services
• Ability to implement Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging with dashboards and alerting
• Strong experience writing and maintaining Terraform for GCP resources
• Ability to build and maintain modular Terraform code manage state and follow IaC best practices
• Proficiency in Python for automation scripting and interacting with GCP APIs
• Experience deploying to GKE Cloud Run or Compute Engine via automated pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices secret management and identity design
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems networking and cloud services
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and document infrastructure and processes clearly
• Develops codes tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing product
• Designs plans develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technology
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods techniques
• Encourage high coding standards using best practices and high quality
• Regularly interacts with subordinate supervisors architects product managers HR on matters concerning projects or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship
• Provides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teams
• Provides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific tech stacks/technologies

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Degree or equivalent certifications
• Experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of cloud based tech/languages technology stacks etc.
• Proficient English both written and verbal
• Self-disciplined and commitment oriented
