This isnt a bookkeeping role. Its a clarity-bringing risk-managing growth-enabling role and youll be the one who connects the dots between finance legal data and the people/stakeholders we work with.

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in accounting financials and a knack for organization We are currently seeking a colleague to join our team. While we appreciate a dynamic work environment we are looking for someone who can balance seriousness with efficiency and has a solid understanding of accounting processes. This role is crucial to the financial health of our company involving a range of administrative and financial tasks related to the day-to-day management of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting/finance be proficient in administrative processes possess excellent communication skills and be capable of multitasking effectively.

Job requirements

What youll be doing

Own margin tracking and COGS: you know where the money is going and why
Keep cash flow planning budget files and the weekly finance file sharp and up to date
Ensure our accounting and reporting files actually talk to each other
Build and manage the reporting platform so the right people see the right numbers
Handle transport and import cost allocation with precision
Own our legal and compliance layer: contracts risk protection of what weve built
Be the main point of contact for external financial stakeholders (investors partners suppliers ...)
Work cross-functionally to keep finance and operations aligned as we scale

What you bring

Solid background in finance at a level where strategy and day-to-day reality meet
Comfortable navigating legal and contractual territory. You know when to act and when to call a lawyer
Ability to make data meaningful and actionable for people who arent finance specialists
Strong stakeholder management skills
The kind of independence that comes with being the most senior financial voice in a growing company

Nice to have

Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment
Familiarity with brand retail or e-commerce business models
A feel for the Suspicious Antwerp brand you get what were building
