Job Summary
Krugersdorp area Gauteng: This organic farm producing pomegranates and other organic crops requires a skilled individual with practical experience in organic farming practices to join the team.
The successful candidate will start with a salary of R5000 per month.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm.
- Practical knowledge of organic pest control methods including organic pesticides fungal sprays and organic fertilizers.
- Ability to scout for pests and diseases and correctly identify common agricultural pests.
- Experience with post-harvest handling including:
- Cold storage management
- Sorting and grading fruit
- Pomegranate deseeding processes advantageous
- Working knowledge and experience in organic cultivation of the following crops:
- Avocado
- Cape gooseberry
- Granadilla
- Lemons
- Ability to work independently and as part of a farm team.
- Must be reliable physically fit and willing to work in an outdoor agricultural environment.
- Proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm.
- Practical knowledge of organic pest control methods including organic pesticides fungal sprays and organic fertilizers.
