Job Summary
Performs retail sales operations in the corresponding Mayo Clinic Alumni Store located on Siebens 7. Assists customers with sale of product competent in use of point of sales system stocks and merchandises inventory provides excellent customer service to patients visitors Mayo employees and internal department representatives in a fast paced environment. Assists in coordinating gift shop operations. Works cooperatively with gift shop manager/supervisor in the realm of inventory control product merchandising record keeping marketing and promotions. Receives all merchandise; must be able to lift/move all inventory.
**Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of previous customer/patient experience required. One year of point of sales fundamentals required. One year of retail sales and merchandise experience interpersonal skills teamwork and organizational skills. Strong human relations/communication skills and ability to problem solve and make quick decisions. Knowledge/use of the internet Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel basic applications.
