Were looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team in Zug Switzerland. You will join a multi-generational family business with a commitment to achieve systemic change across Liveable Cities Responsible Capital Clean Energy and Sustainable Food together with our management teams and mission-aligned external partners.

About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for delivering the full spectrum of HR services to the Zug COFRA Holding site. Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees the HRBP ensures the effective implementation of HR policies processes and initiatives supporting a positive employee experience and enabling business success. This role covers all day-to-day HR operations including employee relations talent management performance management recruitment learning & development compensation & benefits compliance and change management.

Key responsibilities include:

HR Operations & Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all employees and managers at the Zug site.
  • Manage employee relations issues providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Oversee HR administration including contracts onboarding offboarding and HRIS data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss labor law and company policies.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Partner with leaders to identify talent needs and support workforce planning.
  • Support client recruitment and selection processes ensuring a diverse and high-quality talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate and support learning and development initiatives including mandatory and role-specific training.
  • Drive performance management processes supporting managers in goal setting feedback and development planning.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs in line with company guidelines and local regulations.
  • Support annual salary review and bonus processes for the Zug site.

Change Management & Projects:

  • Support the implementation of HR projects and change initiatives at the site level.
  • Lead or participate in HR workstreams of transformation projects ensuring effective change management stakeholder engagement and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team on global or regional projects ensuring local alignment and effective communication.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with site leadership employees and the broader HR community.
  • Act as a culture ambassador promoting inclusion diversity and engagement.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in HR business partnering or generalist HR roles ideally in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing employee relations performance management and talent development.
  • Proficient in HR systems and digital tools.
  • Ability to work independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience.
  • Experience working on transformation planning and/or familiarity with TUPE regulations advantageous
  • Experience in Organisational Transformation including Project Lead experience of a restructuring project
  • English (required) German (desirable)
