As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with clear communication respond to requests and document observations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and Allied Universal protocols within a healthcare-related location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas verify identification and/or authorization as required and direct visitors to the appropriate departments while maintaining professional conduct.
• Respond to incidents alarms and urgent situations in a calm problem-solving manner; request assistance from emergency responders and/or site contacts when appropriate.
• Document patrols visitor activity and incident details in written reports and logs and communicate noteworthy information to site leadership and/or incoming shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
