WebBeds is the worlds second largest accommodation supplier to the travel industry. We are a global company offering ground services (hotels transfers tours activities) to travel professionals. Our products cover our full business needs from distribution APIs payment integrations SAP integration Data Lakes User Interfaces and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 request per second each one with tens or hundreds of hotels. And those numbers are growing every year.

How will you make an impact

As a Security Analyst you will be responsible for utilising the data available to us to help optimise mitigation controls prioritise initiatives identify key risk areas and help understand our threat landscape better. You will also be responsible for optimising our threat intelligence function through analysing internal and external data sources.

Key elements to the role include but not limited to:

• Assess organizational risk and recommend mitigating controls
• Review relevant data sources to develop an understanding of key internal and external threats.
• Review data from security applications to identify key risk areas and optimise mitigation controls.
• Understand our threat landscape and share those insights with key business stakeholders.
• Utilise data to help prioritise road map items.
• Apply threat intelligence to improve detection and defences
• Recommend security controls to improve existing procedures following data analysis.
• Produce regular security reports for management
• Maintain records of incidents assessments and remediation actions

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

• Strong analytics skills.
• Be familiar with cloud environments such as Azure M365 AWS.
• Be familiar with security tools and technologies (e.g. SIEM EDR Anti-malware email security Cloud security platforms)
• Have the ability to communicate in a non techie way to articulate the risk.
• Be aware of the Threat Landscape current trends and current attacks.
• Have strong communication skills and be comfortable providing feedback and updates to key stakeholders within the business.
• Enjoy finding solutions to problems and working effectively with others to reach an agreement.
• Have a professional approach to work integrity and respect for policies.
• Be driven and eager to continuously learn and improve.
