Distribution Supervisor (Full Time) St-Laurent, QC

Education

• 5 to 7 years of experience in the industrial/cryogenic gas industry preferred

Experience

• Experience working in a distribution environment

• Experience managing delivery drivers is considered an asset

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations

• Understanding of trucking industry rules and regulations

• Knowledge or training in emergency response

• Familiarity with databases and software such as JD Edwards SharePoint and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French

• Proven ability to positively influence in a team-oriented work environment

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills

• Self-motivated with effective time management strong organizational skills ability to multitask and solve problems

• Knowledge of cryogenic gases and liquefied carbon dioxide is an asset

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Distribution Supervisor (Full Time) - St. Laurent QC

Primary Purpose

Lead the planning and execution of distribution activities within the assigned region including fleet management routing scheduling and planning of vehicles for product distribution. The incumbent is responsible for all distribution activities in the region and ensures the delivery of company products meets customer needs in compliance with Lindes rules regulations and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement optimal routing programs and/or collaborate with the planning team

• Implement all distribution processes in accordance with Linde procedures

• Ensure the transfer of best practices and the implementation of national initiatives

• Manage distribution costs in line with agreed budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• In collaboration with the National Fleet Maintenance Coordinator ensure all trucks are properly maintained and represent Linde professionally

• Responsible for adhering to the annual budget for expenses and labor across all regional sites

• Ensure compliance with national safety codes and government regulations to achieve Lindes goal of zero accidents and zero injuries
