PIRTEK is the nations leader in on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement. At our Lawrenceville GA service center were hiring a Full-Time Shop Technician to support hose fabrication inventory shop organization and customer service. This position plays a key role in the daily success of our shop operations and can lead to advancement opportunities within PIRTEK.
The Shop Technician is responsible for fabricating hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies maintaining inventory managing shop cleanliness and organization and supporting walk-in customer needs. This is a hands-on full-time position ideal for someone mechanically inclined and detail-oriented.
- Fabricate hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized and clean workspaces inventory and supply areas
- Assist walk-in customers with orders payments and product pickup
- Conduct inventory counts receive and restock incoming parts
- Package and prepare outgoing orders or deliveries
- Support vehicle upfitting special projects and facility improvements
- Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Dependable motivated and safety-conscious
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods
- Technician schedule - first shift (days to be determined)
- Standard Office/Shop Hours - Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Occasional overtime or adjusted schedule based on workload
