Job Summary

As a Global Trade Intern you will support the Global Trade Content team by assisting with research data validation and documentation related to international trade regulations including Harmonized System (HS) classifications duties prohibitions and restrictions and customsrelated information. This role is designed as a learning opportunity with close guidance and mentorship from senior analysts.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Global Trade Intern you will:

  • Support Regulatory Research: Assist in researching global trade regulations for assigned countries using official government sources under guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist with Trade Data Updates: Support the validation and updating of tariffs duties and related trade data to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Data Validation & Quality Checks: Perform basic data validation and quality assurance activities following established SOPs and templates.
  • Content Standardization Support: Help convert regulatory updates into standardized formats compatible with internal systems.
  • Documentation Support: Assist in maintaining process documentation procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with analysts and team leads escalating questions or issues as needed and contributing to team goals.

About You

Youre a fit for the role of Global Trade Intern if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in International Trade Business Economics or a related field typically between the 4th and 6th semester.
  • Basic analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to gather and review traderelated data with guidance.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and willingness to learn data analysis and validation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback.
  • Ability to follow instructions meet deadlines with supervision and ask questions when needed.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills at a foundational professional level.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Interest or introductory coursework in global trade customs or international regulations.
  • Exposure to data validation quality assurance or content management concepts.
  • Eagerness to learn grow professionally and contribute positively to a team environment.
