Position Summary

The Associate Counsel will support the Culligan Quench Legal Department in providing practicalbusiness focusedlegal guidance across the organization. This role involves advising internal clients managing routine legal matters and helping drive efficient scalable legal processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator with excellent judgment attention to detail and the ability to balance risk while enabling businessobjectives.

Responsibilities

Contracting: Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including MSAs customer and vendor agreements leases licensing agreements and other operational contracts.

Compliance & Regulatory Support: Advise business units on regulatory requirements applicable to Quenchs operations including privacy data security consumer protection commercial and employment related issues.

Employment/Labor Support: Provide guidance on day-to-day employment law matters policy interpretation and HR Related issues in coordination with HR leadership.

Litigation Management:Supportlitigation and dispute resolution manageoutside counsel and overseeinternal fact development.

Legal Research & Analysis: Conducttimelyresearch on legal issues affecting the business and provide clear actionable recommendations.

Policy Development:Assistin drafting updating and implementing internal policies processes templates and compliance standards.

Risk Management: Identify legal risks propose mitigation strategies and support the business in making informed risk balanced decisions.

Cross Functional Support: Partner with Sales Operations Finance HR and other departments providing practical legal guidance to enable business goals.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar in good standing.

46 years of relevant legal experiencepreferably including commercial contracting and corporate work; in-house experiencestronglypreferred but notrequired.

Strong draftingissuespotting and negotiation skills.

Ability to communicate clear and practical guidance to nonlawyers.

Highly responsive organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Comfort working in afastpacedbusiness environment and exercising sound judgmentwith minimal supervision.

High integrity sound judgment and collaborative mindset.
