Responsibilities
As a Treasury Assistant at CRMC you are the frontline guardian of our daily cash flow. This is a high-impact fast-paced role located at our Downtown CRMC Finance office. You will be responsible for the pulse of our corporate accountsensuring every remittance and adjustment is captured accurately and every dollar is accounted for before the day is done.
We are looking for a systems-savvy professional who thrives on accuracy and meeting deadlines. If you have a background in banking accounting or finance and enjoy the puzzle of researching unreconciled items you will be a vital asset to our three-person downtown treasury team.

Essential Accountabilities
Reflects the jobs main responsibilities and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties performed; therefore its content does not restrict managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to individuals in this job.
Understands CMCs current banking services and can execute the necessary cash control tasks (i.e. lock box function). Assists in identifying ways to control bank costs. Executes wire transfers payroll and tax transfers in accordance with Corporate policy.
Reviews and monitors appropriate internal control safeguards over the collection deposits posting internal reporting investment and disbursement of cash. Reviews that all deposits are made on a timely basis and recorded accurately.
Assists in the monitoring and controlling of all treasury functions. Ensures that all bank accounts investment accounts cash control and cash application accounts are reconciled on a timely basis.
Prepares and reviews audit schedules for fiscal year-end audit.
Participates in the development of strategic plans and objectives and in the establishment of operational policies to ensure their achievement.
Implements appropriate controls to ensure that the unit operates within its guidelines.
Participates in and/or leads processes which evaluate existing procedures for processing treasury function transactions to determine methods of reducing time spent and costs of the treasury operation.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Standard administrative and secretarial practices.
Organization and records maintenance standards.
Proper formats for a variety of correspondence reports and other documents.
Assigned department division program practices and terminology and role in organization.
Standards and protocols for record and file organization and maintenance.
Intermediate to advanced skills in word processing presentation and spreadsheet tools.
Intermediate to advanced level operation of graphics and presentation software.
Demonstrated superior level of customer service.
Correct English usage in spelling grammar punctuation and vocabulary.
Read and comprehend office or program manuals and reports.
Compose correspondence instructions and reports using appropriate formats and styles.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience
- 5 years of business office experience required
- Must be able to operate calculator by touch and operate basic computer terminal. Knowledge of basic accounting principle required
- Excel: Proficient (Pivot tables/VLOOKUPs preferred but can be trained).
- Workday: Experience is a significant plus as it is the primary system used
- Soft Skills: Professionalism savvy with systems and the ability to work independently at a steady pace.
- Experience in Banking Finance or as an Accounting Assistant/Clerk preferred.
