Fullstack engineer Tech lead

You will be joining one of our most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control video and monitoring capabilities. As Team Leader you will guide a cross-functional engineering team working in a continuous delivery environment ensuring the successful delivery of features that directly impact our customers daily.
The Team Leader will be responsible for team coordination resource planning stakeholder communication and fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation. This position requires balancing technical expertise in video and security domains with people management project oversight and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and the technical depth to guide decisions on streaming architectures.

What youll do
Lead and mentor a cross-functional delivery team of software engineers fostering professional growth and technical excellence
Coordinate sprint planning backlog refinement and delivery schedules to ensure timely feature releases
Lead the architectural design and definition of scalable video streaming subsystems utilizing WebRTC and HLS to build robust real-time monitoring capabilities.
Facilitate collaboration between engineering product management and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps
Remove impediments and optimize team processes to maintain high productivity and morale
Oversee technical design decisions and architectural approaches for multi-tenant cloud solutions and video distribution
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in software development
Manage resource allocation capacity planning and team performance metrics

You must have

7 years or more of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role
Proven track record of leading engineering teams through complete product development cycles
Strong technical background in modern web applications cloud services and software architecture
Experience with Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with Modern JavaScript frameworks and tools such as Nodejs React and Webpack
Demonstrated ability to balance technical decisions with business priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to make decisions under pressure

We Value
Technical proficiency with video streaming technologies specifically HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) and WebRTC
Experience managing teams working with cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) and distributed systems
Background in security domain products or related technologies
Familiarity with video transmission protocols and media streaming standards
Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Experience with portfolio management and strategic planning
Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering or a related major; Bachelors degree with significant leadership experience can be substituted
