Job Description:
The BRIC Cleanroom Student Assistant will:
* Maintain regular and reliable transportation to and from the main campus to the BRIC.
* Assist the cleanroom manager in overseeing daily upkeep of the cleanroom such as: cleaning surfaces and floors organizing supplies putting away glassware and supplies refilling chemical bottles and other supplies maintaining shared lab spaces and retrieving packages and materials from the BSB Chemical stockroom.
* Assist in the training of undergraduate and graduate students on the use of various research instruments and machines used within the cleanroom and ensure the proper use of these instruments and machines.
* These duties require the ability to comply with University policies as well as all laboratory safety and quality policies procedures and training.
* Maintain regular and punctual schedule and manage confidential information.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed as well as attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.
