Riverview has an immediate need for a truck sales professional. No truck sales experience necessary. You must have experience in sales and have knowledge of the industry we work in. If you are tech and have experience working on heavy duty trucks your experience could be perfect for this role.

Truck Sales Representatives sell all vehicle products offered by Riverview International Trucks LLC. This position involves making inside and outside sales calls developing and managing customer relationships placing truck orders selling new and used stock trucks working with International factory personnel and have a working relationship with personnel in all departments of the dealership.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree or established outside sales experience

Desired Job Qualifications
Sales experience in the transportation industry

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook

Strong organization and communication skills

Job Requirements

Comfort with cold calling in person visits and account cultivation is required.

Ability to think critically and provide solutions to complex problems

Be a self-starter. Have the ability to manage both short term and long term schedules and work remotely

Ability to effectively communicate with all aspects of the dealership and International factory personnel

Ability produce reports as required

Have an understanding of commercial truck regulations

Reports to Truck Sales Manager

Ability to obtain a commercial driver license

The Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in delivering a premium customer experience by offering full-spectrum solutions through a consultative selling approach. This position is responsible for promoting and selling International products (truck and/or IC Bus) both new and pre-owned along with associated services tailored to meet the operational and financial needs of a diverse customer baseincluding owner-operators small businesses and large commercial fleets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Business Development Ability to identify and qualify potential customers analyze fleet needs and actively build a strong sales pipeline through calls visits and targeted outreach.
  • Product & Solution Expertise Strong understanding of International truck products configurations and related services; able to align vehicle specifications financing and lifecycle value to customer applications.
  • Customer Development Skilled in consultative selling asking the right questions to uncover business and financial needs and building long-term relationships that ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Proposal & Closing Skills Experience creating tailored proposals collaborating with internal and external stakeholders addressing objections and finalizing deals with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Follow-Up & Reporting Consistent in post-sale customer follow-up pipeline management performance analysis and accurate reporting to support business growth and continuous improvement.
  • Dealership Culture & Professionalism Commitment to integrity collaboration accountability and continuous learning; ability to foster a respectful high-performance work environment while representing the brand positively.

Desired Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in business management technical or related field preferred.
  • Vocational/technical training or further education in a relevant field considered a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Background in the medium/heavy-duty truck bus or automotive industry strongly preferred.
  • Prior dealership experience and knowledge of trade-in processes or used vehicle evaluations are beneficial.
  • Experience using CRM or sales management tools preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License required; CDL preferred or ability to obtain a CDL.
