About the role:

Join our asset maintenance workshop team based at Dambridge near Canterbury in Kent to undertake the repairs replacement and modifications to our assets located on our wastewater treatment facilities sludge treatment centres and pumping stations.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety quality environmental and customer standards are met whilst supporting continuous improvement.

What you will be responsible for:

  • To undertake these tasks it would be preferable if you have previous experience of working in a process environment and be competent in operating all types of tooling in a workshop setting.
  • Be involved in commissioning of new or repaired assets ensuring that they operate as per the manufacturers recommendations and site compliance is maintained.
  • Be familiar with using computers and smart phones to update our company systems and databases as required and have experience of using site control systems such as Scada and HMIs.
  • Be able to identify possible future risks to site compliance and recommend resolutions as required.
  • Be part of a bank holiday standby roster to provide emergency support to operations as required.
  • Willing to travel to all sites across Kent.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of mechanical plant and equipment used in the wastewater treatment process.
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline
  • A Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
  • A full UK driving licence
