Job Summary

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our very busy Childrens Production Department as Production Assistant. This role will work on a prestigious backlist and reports to the Senior Production Manager Childrens Production Division.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Production Manager key tasks will include costing and processing colour and mono reprints co-editions backlist eBooks and some POD along with providing administrative support to the team.

Knowledge skills and experience

Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Keen eye for detail and a good head for numbers
IT skills (knowledge of Office is essential and familiarity with Adobe products and Biblio 3 desirable)

The role is a full-time permanent position

Salary Pay Point:

27000 per annum

The role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square London WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are Monday and Tuesday.

As an Assistant role this position is eligible for Bloomsburys Rental Deposit Loan Scheme. To assist candidates who want to start and to establish a career in publishing Bloomsbury offers an interest-free rental deposit to support securing somewhere to live. The rental deposit loan can be up to 3000 and will be paid back over 2 years.
