Job Summary
The Marketing Communications Intern will support the team across a variety of marketing and communications functions including but not limited to advertising social media and public relations. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and provides exposure to the full marketing lifecycle from concept development to execution and reporting.
The ideal candidate is creative organized eager to learn and comfortable juggling multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Starting - $18.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
Assist with the development and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns
Support advertising operations by opening creative job requests tracking and maintaining signage inventory and assisting with the installation/removal of on-property signage
Support social media efforts including content creation scheduling and monitoring engagement
Help draft and proofread marketing materials such as social posts press releases email copy and internal communications
Assist with public relations efforts including media research press list updates and coverage tracking
Support on-property or experiential marketing initiatives promotions and special events as needed
Review and update information on and third-party websites
Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to support campaign planning
Help organize marketing assets calendars and project documentation
Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing team as needed
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be a college student working towards a degree in a Finance Business Marketing or Hospitality-related field. Must have basic computer skills Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work in high volume/high demand environment. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED.
