Job Summary

Summary:The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for all support operations pertaining to the usage and maintenance of equipment delivered at customer sites. They are the customer interface for AITs on-site activities; they have strong communication and client service skills. They apply knowledge of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restores equipment to operation. They support maintenance production and factory equipment and tooling in the customers and Responsibilities: Assemble and disassemble tooling and production up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operations requirements company safety procedures and OSHA requirements for machine activation and source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists cranes and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools levels and understand and follow advanced job order specifications blueprints work instructions and load sort and move materials supplies and finished products between storage and work areas using pushcart hoist or perform duties utilizing elevated platform equipment at various components accurately thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications Operate equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work and comply with good safety practices and habits including but not limited to use of all components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies with hand tools power tools or bench machines. Inspect test and verify accuracy of assembled article for conformance to standards using measuring or testing equipment or by visual examination.
