The environment is primarily focused on execution of operational activities within given guidelines policies and addition activities which require alignment/stakeholder management both internally as externally on solution and content driven topics are managed.
The core responsibility is to manage the performance of employees and evaluation of (work)processes for own functional discipline and initiates and implements process improvements. Contributes to/drafts one year execution plan and realizes execution of plan for own team with a time horizon of 3-6 months.
The team size being led by providing coaching support and guidance typically has 10 employees. The work activities managed require at least specialized working and thinking level (experienced bachelors).
Requires understanding of teams disciplines/functional area.
Thorough experience in leadership roles overseeing a team (preferably) with a connection to service/process/performance management.
Experience in managing resources on a day-to-day basis for own team with a cross-team impact.
Manages day to day operational activities (20% of time) of the team and project and improvement activities related to own scope. Responsible for qualitative results of team and delivery of KPIs on top of development of employees.
Coordinate tasks and projects within the team with a cross function/department impact to ensure achievement of deliverables.
Responsible for the operational and delivery elements of people related aspects.
Assertive on addressing (starting) personnel issues individually and collectively within the team.
Act as coach on personal development.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed. Provide guidance direction and support to team members. Ability to analyze future implications of issues.
Participation in (improvement) projects with a typical scope of max 9 months in a role of Project Lead. Responsible for development and delivery of usable processes for teams.
Drives and takes ownership of continuous improvement activities and mindset of team(members) in own team and coordinates improvement plans for own scope by coaching employees and advising on methods/techniques.
Structurally manages stakeholders both internally within own area of responsibility and other HR areas and in addition externally managing vendors and external relations (f.e. workforce/delivery solutions).
Proposes changes in org design to management and allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity and achieve goals.
Takes decisions of an operational nature. Operates within a light tactical business environment with a planning horizon of up to three months.
Operates within clear business-directions relevant design principles and risk & compliance directives.
Address conflicts and challenges within the team finding solutions to overcome obstacles. Creates new approaches/procedures to solve operational issues.
Keeps up with internal and external developments and ensures development transfer and retention of knowledge and information initiate new ways of working to optimize processes.
