Travel CT Technologist (Radiology) Day Shift

Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Weekly Pay: $3441 (Gross)
Schedule: 40 hours/week 5 days/week
Shift Options: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
Additional: Rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures under the direction of the Radiology Manager. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with patient-focused care ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging while adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of designated anatomical areas per physician orders

• Operate CT equipment and control consoles safely and efficiently

• Select appropriate imaging techniques for high-quality diagnostic results

• Position patients correctly and apply immobilization devices as needed

• Monitor patient condition and provide care before during and after procedures

• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation

• Assist physicians and nurses during imaging procedures when required

• Administer or assist with contrast media as permitted

• Evaluate images for clarity accuracy and diagnostic quality

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

• Ensure compliance with radiation safety infection control and hospital protocols

• Perform routine equipment checks calibration and maintenance

• Follow all departmental policies including emergency and safety procedures

• Participate in ongoing education and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AMA-approved)

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control

• CT Certification or actively pursuing ARRT CT registration

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as a Radiologic Technologist OR

• At least 1 year recent CT Tech experience (within the last 5 years)

• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to patient care safety and confidentiality
