Travel CT Technologist (Radiology) Day Shift
Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Weekly Pay: $3441 (Gross)
Schedule: 40 hours/week 5 days/week
Shift Options: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
Additional: Rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures under the direction of the Radiology Manager. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with patient-focused care ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging while adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT scans of designated anatomical areas per physician orders
Operate CT equipment and control consoles safely and efficiently
Select appropriate imaging techniques for high-quality diagnostic results
Position patients correctly and apply immobilization devices as needed
Monitor patient condition and provide care before during and after procedures
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
Assist physicians and nurses during imaging procedures when required
Administer or assist with contrast media as permitted
Evaluate images for clarity accuracy and diagnostic quality
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Ensure compliance with radiation safety infection control and hospital protocols
Perform routine equipment checks calibration and maintenance
Follow all departmental policies including emergency and safety procedures
Participate in ongoing education and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AMA-approved)
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control
CT Certification or actively pursuing ARRT CT registration
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years as a Radiologic Technologist OR
At least 1 year recent CT Tech experience (within the last 5 years)
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
