We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant. The role will provide clerical support across many areas of HR such as tracking paid time off taking calls from employees that are late or sick or have other emergencies supporting our review process assessing any employee relations situations and helping to drive our culture. There will be additional responsibilities outside of HR that you will be excited to learn as it relates to the daily transactions that occur for our clients.
In addition to having a broad understanding of HR you have a high degree of understanding around confidentiality are exceptionally organized and have amazing attention to detail. You are a critical thinker and anticipate subsequent events with an unwavering ability to solve problems even with little to no direction. Responsibilities
- Answer frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies payroll performance management etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate leader
- Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence forms reports arranging meetings processing confidential reports and documents filing electronic and/or hard copy documents and tracking deadlines
- Assist with managing sensitive and confidential issues such as employee relations terminations leaves unemployment claims employment verifications organizational changes and data
- Perform data entry document uploads etc. into internal systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files records and documentation
- Track and monitor employment law poster updates and update office bulletin boards
- Provides administrative support to the leadership team around HR topics
- Support operations team as needed with paperwork money movement service request updates data management or in any other way that is needed to help the business and the clients
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience within human resources required; exposure to wealth management preferred
- High school diploma required
- Excellent follow-through and communication
- Editing and writing skills to initiate compose format proofread and carefully edit various professional business documents and correspondence
- Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work assignments and deadlines efficiently despite frequent interruptions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate in a pleasant tactful and effective manner (both orally and in writing) and to handle difficult sensitive issues
- Ability to analyze situations define problems and/or objectives identify relevant factors formulate logical conclusions and suggest alternative solutions
- Able to work independently with limited direct supervision
- CRM Software experience required; Salesforce knowledge highly preferred
- Industry-specific software/platform experience preferred; LPL Schwab
- Advanced Technology Skills and use of MS Office (Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel Teams)
