Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol in Elizabethtown NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors through strong communication and customer this role you will bring a professional presence respond to situations with integrity and contribute to a caring reliable team focused on people first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access control practices and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and reporting protocols for security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances restricted areas and high-traffic locations verifying access permissions and documenting security-related events observations and/or incidents.
- Work closely with site personnel first responders and/or Allied Universal leadership during medical behavioral and emergency-related situations while following post orders and local procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
