Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Lumberton NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post offering the opportunity to support daily operations through strong communication teamwork and customer service while making a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed patrol post.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds restricted areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior unusual conditions maintenance concerns and/or potential hazards according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
- Support access control activities by monitoring entry and exit points verifying credentials as required and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily patrol activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
