Salary/Wage:
$18.50/hr. based on experience
Shift and Schedule:
Mon. - Fri. (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) (Additional hours including holidays and weekends may be required).

Job Summary/Description:
Are you a visual storyteller Were looking for a Commercial & Promotions Producer who lives for the hook and knows how to create connections. Youre the secret weapon... crafting high-impact multi-platform campaigns for a local client and assisting with marketing for our TV radio and digital platforms.
No two days are the same. Youll jump from station promotion to commercial production keeping your creative skills sharp. Youll see your work helping local businesses grow in Illinois Missouri and Iowa. WGEM invests in the gear and software you need to do your best work across all platforms. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with the Sales Department and Commercial clients
- Script writing videography and postproduction with Adobe Creative Suite
- Helps with daily promotion scheduling and log management.
- Work with the Marketing Manager in writing shooting and editing image campaigns promotions for station projects and events.
- Works on projects with other departments as needed.
- Being able to work well with a team is a must.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of video production experience (may include college projects)
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to: Adobe Premiere Adobe Effects Adobe Photoshop Adobe Audition and Adobe Illustrator
- Must be self-motivated and a visual storyteller and able to produce station promotions and commercials. This includes writing scripts shooting editing and the production of graphics.
- Drone experience and certification a plus
- The ability to make fast accurate judgments.
- Must have/maintain a valid state drivers license and acceptable driving record to be able to go to the client site for commercial production.
- The job requires manual dexterity and physical agility to move quickly and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
