Job Summary
Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is anemployee-ownedfederal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology Test & Evaluation Program Mission Support Engineering & Analysis and Training.
Responsibilities
On a daily basis the ideal candidate will have junior to mid-level skills to provide the following support:
- Handle customer support calls and issues in a Tier 1 / Tier 2 environment setting.
- Log into using a Domain Controller or Remote Server tool navigating the Active Directory Interface managing user and group system access issues.
- Provide support using your understanding of Windows some Linux some VMWare / Hyper-V and or Remote Desktop.
- Have experience setting up repairing basic computer equipment to include installing new or replacement of computer drives and memory.
- Ability to learn the understand and implementation of SQL Server Profiler (monitoring) and Agent (automation) tools.
- Ability to learn the setup and execution of scripts to perform basic queries of data or automation of system upgrades and backups.
- Ability to support direct orremote interface with customers on technical needs.
Clearly communicates technical solutions with stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications
- Possess an active Top-Secret clearance.
- Willingness to take an agency CI polygraph when requested.
- Have a High School Diploma (HS) and 8 years experience Associates Degree (AS) and 6 years experience Bachelors Degree (BS) and 3 years experience or a Masters Degree (MS) and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Possess effective communications skills and able to effectively brief audiences.
- Have the ability to organize work so assignments are completed in a timely manner perform analysis and quickly resolve issues multi-task and or take direction from lead team members.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $77600.00/Yr. - USD $129600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
