Job Summary
Subject to formal establishment a vacancy may arise for a FS (Any Profession) to serve asFlight Sergeant HQ RAF Apprenticeships IQA within the 22Gp HQ RAF Apprenticeships Team on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 28 September 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status and formal establishment).
Job Description
Develop and implement internal quality assurance policies and procedures to maintain adherence with DfE (and Ofsted) regulatory requirements
Manage a quality standardisation programme including conducting sampling of audits and reports across HQ RAF Apprenticeships to ensure consistency and promote best practice.
Lead quality improvement initiatives across AOR monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes.
Identify areas of risk and work with key stakeholders to develop contingency plans to ensure appropriate redundancy measures are in place.
Develop a structure for Apprenticeship Centre IQAs and subsequently provide a central POC including developing appropriate training.
Provide contingency support to QA Team when required including participation in Assurance Support Visits.
