Job Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in backend engineering microservices architecture and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience in Python frameworks and be capable of leading technical discussions mentoring junior developers and delivering highquality scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Architect and implement microservices REST APIs and modular backend components.
- Ensure performance optimization code quality and adherence to best engineering practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product DevOps QA and Architecture.
- Review code drive technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
- Integrate thirdparty APIs cloud-native services and automation tools.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve production issues ensuring system stability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical roadmaps.
Required Technical Skills
- 7 years of handson experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Django Flask and/or FastAPI.
- Excellent understanding of OOP design patterns and clean architecture principles.
- Proven experience with RESTful APIs microservices and asynchronous programming.
- Database expertise in PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB (relational & NoSQL).
- Experience working with Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud experience with AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one is mandatory).
- Familiarity with Kafka RabbitMQ Redis or other messaging systems.
- Strong understanding of Git branching strategies and Agile development practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in data engineering ETL pipelines or workflow orchestration tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML libraries such as NumPy Pandas PyTorch TensorFlow.
- Understanding of distributed systems highavailability and large-scale architectures.
- Experience participating in architecture reviews and contributing to technical strategy.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to guide mentor and support junior developers.
- High sense of ownership with a focus on delivery excellence and quality.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (preferred).
