How youll contribute

An Assessment Supervisorwho excels in this role:

• Facilitates response to request for services including the initial response the assessment and referral process the designation of appropriate level of care admission into services and appropriate follow up activity
• Conducts initial evaluation initiates the assessment documenting patient symptomology functioning needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients physicians visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner
• Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA
• Maintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy completes all per-certification with insurance companies
• Ensures appropriate staffing for shift
• Minimizes use of overtime
• Assists in monitoring attendance
• Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions
• Reports all issues and incidents to the Director of appropriately
• Ensure staff has completed all needed documentation call logging insurance calls and additional tasks prior to the end of shift

What were looking for

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing Required or Masters degree in Social Work/Counseling required.
• License: Current unencumbered clinical social work or RN license
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
