How youll contribute
An Assessment Supervisorwho excels in this role:
- Facilitates response to request for services including the initial response the assessment and referral process the designation of appropriate level of care admission into services and appropriate follow up activity
- Conducts initial evaluation initiates the assessment documenting patient symptomology functioning needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients physicians visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner
- Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA
- Maintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy completes all per-certification with insurance companies
- Ensures appropriate staffing for shift
- Minimizes use of overtime
- Assists in monitoring attendance
- Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions
- Reports all issues and incidents to the Director of appropriately
- Ensure staff has completed all needed documentation call logging insurance calls and additional tasks prior to the end of shift

- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing Required or Masters degree in Social Work/Counseling required.
- License: Current unencumbered clinical social work or RN license
- Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
