Job Description:

Position is a trusted advisor to the customer. Positions reporting directly to this role include: Autonomous Application Specialist Project Engineer (if applicable) Autonomous On-Board Specialist as well as support the customers Command Builder Command Supervisor Command Technician and Command Controller.

This is a heavy coordination role and must be strong in managing the matrix and influencing others. Preferred candidates must have previous mining operations and autonomy experience. Role works hand in hand with customers operational leaders. Role will also establish and maintain high-level relationship with business decision makers and subject matter experts. Accountable for representing Caterpillar and Caterpillar assigned actions.

Influence and drive Caterpillar Product Groups and internal partners to accelerate and deliver interim corrective and permanent corrective actions and support that mitigate the impact of product and production issues to customer. Influence various Caterpillar divisions to develop the correct new products and services to meet the mines current and future needs.

The position must be able to work with the dealer Caterpillar and the customer to deliver the agreed upon metrics for the site. Successful candidate will also manage key site performance metrics including technology availability production metrics operating cost per ton uptime AHS fleet utilization safety etc. The role will partner closely with the Mining Region Manager Physical Availability and Site Solutions Manager (if applicable) Commercial Manager and Sales Reps on commercial opportunity at the site.

This position acts as a consultant to dealer and customer operations and maintenance managers as well as executive management advising best practices on the use of Command for Hauling. Position is responsible to contribute to Caterpillars Zero Harm safety metrics as well as site specific safety. Serves as the Responsible Person for all on site Caterpillar personnel and ensures safety of overall AHS system.

Successful candidate must have the ability to work and set priorities for self and for the work team without day-to-day direct supervision. The position often confronts complex issues or problems which require careful analysis and diagnosis. Problems are often unique and solutions can require original approaches.

What you will do:

- Developing the correct new products and services to meet the customer current and future needs at a job site.

- Maintaining key site performance metrics including technology availability production metrics operating cost uptime fleet utilization safety etc.

- Developing prioritizing and implementing strategies to address customer needs as well as ensuring dealer servicing and support practices align with recovery strategy.

- Advising on strategic direction for proper equipment selection product problem management and equipment management activities.

This role will support staffed and autonomous mine sites inCanaã dos Carajasregion.

Skills:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.

Basic requirements:

- University degree

- Pre advanced English

- Experience in mining technology and exposure to mining operations

Top candidates will also have:

- Pre advanced Spanish

- Previous field rep mine operations or Autonomous Run Team experience

Additional Information:

- Travel requirements: Less than 25% of the time. Mostly mine site based.

- This role is based in Canaã dos Carajás/PA - Brazil. Ideally the candidate will live within driving distance of themine siteto best support customer needs.
