Intake Coordinator Billing Specialist
Pay: Negotiable based on experience
Status: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am 4:00 pm
Location: Camp Hill PA
What were looking for:
- 18 years of age
- A valid drivers license
- Access to vehicle with valid insurance registration and inspection
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree or technical certification within a related area preferred
- 6 months to 2 years of related experience required; 2 years preferred
- Ability to communicate read write and interpret English
- Preferred: Experience with Medicaid services HCSIS or human service program operations
As an Intake Coordinator Billing Specialist youll support UCP Central PAs mission by helping individuals and families successfully begin services while ensuring accurate billing authorizations and system documentation. Youll coordinate referrals guide families through the intake process manage service authorizations and support billing operations so our programs can deliver high-quality services to the people we support.
What Youll Do:
- Coordinate referrals and guide individuals families and stakeholders through the intake process
- Review service plans and documentation to ensure compliance with ODP and county requirements
- Enter individuals information authorizations and service data into agency systems accurately
- Verify service authorizations rates units and modifiers within HCSIS and internal systems
- Assist with billing support including tracking authorizations utilization and required documentation
- Communicate with internal teams counties and funding sources to resolve intake or billing issues
- Maintain organized participant records and ensure all required intake paperwork and training are completed
