The Johns Hopkins Hospital Meyer 6 Geriatric Psychiatry/Pain Treatment Unit provides specialized care for medically complex geriatric patients with severe mood and neuropsychiatric disorders as well as individuals with intractable pain conditions. This unique unit includes 9 geriatric psychiatry beds 11 pain treatment beds and two partial hospitalization programs serving as step-down services. Nurses deliver comprehensive care focused on symptom management psychological support and improving physical functioning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required
All New Grad RNs are automatically enrolled in our Nurse Residency Program ranked #3 in the nation!
Applicants with an Associates degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
