Job Description
As a Security Officer -Armed Water Plantin West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible and respond to security-related concerns as they arise. You will document observations communicate clearly with site contacts and emergency partners and deliver helpful customer service. This role reflects our agile reliable and innovative approach with a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors at a government location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas verifying identification and/or authorization as required and direct visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site rules.
- Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner and coordinate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Complete accurate reports and logs such as patrol activity incidents and observations and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Possess a guard card.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
