Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC) located in the heart of Ashtabula Ohio is seeking a dedicated Orthopedics Physician. This 186-bed acute care community hospital an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic is known for its high-quality patient care backed by national recognitions for safety and excellence from organizations such as Leap Frog and Health Grades.
Job Responsibilities:
- Practice in various settings including outpatient clinics hospital and surgical blocks.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians currently in practice.
- Cater exclusively to an adult patient population.
- Manage a practice that is over 95% clinic-based with less than 5% inpatient care.
- Utilize onsite lab and X-ray facilities to enhance patient care.
- Conduct patient consultations in 2-3 well-equipped exam rooms.
- Work alongside a supportive office staff of 1 nurse and 1 receptionist.
- Leverage EPIC EMR for efficient patient management.
- Participate in a Level I trauma center.
- Be available on call approximately 10 days per month.
- Must reside within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate.
- Open to H1B visa candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Expertise in a variety of orthopedic procedures.
- Commitment to relocating within a 40-mile radius if not already local.
- Information on visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) is necessary.
- Statement addressing motivation for seeking a new position.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Ohio medical license or intent to obtain.
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
