Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed K9-Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal supporting a government location in an armed driving patrol role. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to alarms and requests for assistance with calm professional communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
- Control access at designated points by checking identification monitoring visitor flow and directing employees and guests according to site protocols.
- Complete accurate reports and logs of patrols incidents and observations and communicate relevant information during shift changes.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- 3 years combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree is required.
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
