Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain IBM i systems including Power Systems hardware.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
  • Apply patches updates and perform system upgrades.
  • Manage user profiles permissions and access controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements.
  • Ensure system security and compliance with IT policies.
  • Document procedures and maintain system logs.
  • Provide second-level support for IBM i-related incidents.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Required:
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience/knowledge in IBM i
  • Working knowledge of IBM i OS CL commands and system navigation.
  • Familiarity with IBM HMC SAN storage and backup solutions.
  • Experience with IBM Power 9 or newer systems.
  • Proficiency in IBM SEA software Mimix Turnover and Halcyon (or similar software).
  • Experience with scripting language (CL).
