Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Shipping/Logistics Technician II to work on-site with our client a leading organization within the Commercial Aircraft Group. This role supports production repair and logistics operations in a fast-paced regulated manufacturing environment. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
Perform material handling and logistics operations supporting production repair development and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) activities.
Execute processes including material delivery kit pulling stocking receiving and packaging.
Receive package count and properly locate parts within inventory systems.
Develop working knowledge of internal software systems and complete transactional tasks accurately.
Prioritize daily workload to meet production and operational targets.
Communicate with shop leads and repair teams to ensure timely processing and delivery of materials.
Collaborate with engineering quality and customer service teams to support operational needs.
Operate material handling equipment and utilize cranes or lift carts for heavy items as needed.
Perform frequent lifting bending and movement of materials throughout the shift.
Handle incoming calls and support communication across shift personnel.
Respond to urgent situations and assist with coordination during emergencies or evacuations.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
Must-Have Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred or demonstrated ability to understand and follow verbal written and computer-based work instructions in English.
Minimum of 3 years of material handling shipping/receiving or logistics experience.
Valid New York State drivers license required.
Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition subtraction multiplication division).
Ability to lift bend and move materials regularly throughout the shift.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or regulated production environments.
Experience supporting MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) operations.
Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management tools.
Experience operating material handling equipment.
