Pay - and nbsp;$210.00$220.00 per hour
Job Overview
ND Global Consulting Services Inc. is seeking a and nbsp;licensed Gynecologist / OB-GYN Consultant and nbsp;for a government healthcare services opportunity in and nbsp;Brooklyn New York. The selected provider will deliver and nbsp;gynecology consultation services and nbsp;to patients at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center and work closely with medical clinic personnel and referring prescribers. The assignment requires and nbsp;onsite coverage for 8 hours per month typically structured as and nbsp;4 hours every other week. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced gynecology physician seeking a flexible part-time consulting role within a clinical and behavioral health environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and nbsp;gynecology consultation services and nbsp;for patients onsite at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center.
- Participate in and nbsp;credentialing and privileging and nbsp;processes in accordance with facility/MSO guidelines.
- Staff a and nbsp;scheduled outpatient clinic for 8 hours per month.
- Perform procedures and maintain privileges including:
- Endometrial biopsy
- PAP smear
- Incision and drainage of abscess
- Suturing of laceration
- Insertion/removal of IUD
- Aspiration of breast cyst/mass
- Insertion of pessary
- Communicate directly with and nbsp;medical clinic personnel and nbsp;and scheduled patients.
- Consult with the and nbsp;referring prescriber and nbsp;when clinically indicated.
- Prepare and nbsp;clear and concise consult reports and nbsp;that summarize evaluation findings treatment context recommendations and referrals as needed.
- Participate in and nbsp;required consultant trainings.
- Perform additional related duties necessary to support compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO and nbsp;with specialization in and nbsp;Gynecology / OB-GYN
- Active and unrestricted and nbsp;New York State medical license
- Ability to obtain and maintain and nbsp;credentialing and privileging and nbsp;at the facility
- Demonstrated experience in womens health and gynecologic consultation services
- Ability to perform the required office-based gynecologic procedures listed above
- Strong documentation and clinical communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary medical and behavioral health teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in and nbsp;Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Prior experience in hospital psychiatric correctional public sector or institutional healthcare settings
- Experience treating medically complex or underserved patient populations
- Prior government or public healthcare consulting experience
Schedule
Part-time onsite
8 hours per month
Generally and nbsp;4 hours every other week x 2
