Job Summary

Job Title: Residential Support Worker (Bank Temp to Perm)

Location: Oldham (primarily within a solo home setting)

Pay: 14.00 per hour
Sleep-In Rate: 52 per sleep
Pay Frequency: Weekly (based on hours and sleeps worked)

Working Hours: Varied shifts must be able to commit to a 2-on shift pattern

Employment Type: Bank (with opportunity to move into a permanent role)

Service Type: Ofsted-regulated solo childrens home

Service Users: Young people with mid-level complex needs (EBD / trauma-related needs)

Experience Required: Previous experience working within a childrens residential home is essential

Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) desirable

Driving Requirement: Preferred

Eligibility: To be considered for temp-to-perm candidates must not require sponsorship or be on a visa

DBS: Preferred on the Update Service

References: Must be able to obtain references covering the last 5 years including all roles involving children or vulnerable adults

Number of Beds: Solo placement
Location: Middlesbrough
Type of Young People: Mid-complex needs including Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties and trauma backgrounds
Staffing Ratio: 2:1 to ensure consistent high-quality care
