The Job:

As a DirectorPlatforming Pro Electric Youllbe part of ourTowsonDesign Center to:

Own Platform Architecture in Coordination with Chief & Product Management (CGO) to Define Product Roadmap

Define Modules to be Used in New Product Prior to Design Center Execution Design guideEnsurethat the re-use of components is maximized & that cost is a key driver of selection. Clearly understand productTrade-Offsto deliver the optimized platform solution.

Ensure that NPD projects are fully scoped with all SKUsinconsideration. Support the portfolio optimization team to ensure that we deliver a fully refined portfolio as we progress the product lifecycle.

Identifystandardization opportunities within both NPD & Current Products todrivercost improvement for our products.

Own Platform Integrity and Associated Module Life Cycles Maintain/build Library-Menus

IdentifyTechnology Roadmaps and Application NeedsInCollaboration with Chief Engineers

Platform Reporting (On Time / On Cost / On Quality) at Cross Functional Meetings

Own Platform Cost Walk and Plan to Optimize CostInCollaboration with CGO GSC and DTV Partners;DetermineSub-Component / Module Level Product Cost Budget

Collaboration with GSC (Manf. OpsPurchasing Eng.) on Footprint Moves & Strategies for Component Costs

The Person:

10 years of experience in product managementengineering platform strategy or technology leadership roles with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Bachelors degree in Business Computer ScienceEngineeringor related field.

Influential Leader with strategic vision that knows the product line and what it takes to drive success.

Strong decision-making capabilities particularly with prioritizing among disparate objectives.

Leadership experience from a global company known for innovation and engineering excellence.

Strong communicationskills ability to develop/deliver technical presentations.

Collaborate and build consensus with stakeholders and teams to arrive at opportunities that drive innovation.

Ability to inspire influence and lead cross-functional teams.

Expert builder of internal and external relationships; inspiringleaderto team colleagues and broaderorganization.

Well versed in change management anddemonstratedcapability of managing change globally.

Exceptional strategic thinkinganalyticaland problem-solving abilities.

The base pay range for this position in Marylandis 134300.00 - 201500.00 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefitsdependenton the position offered.
