About the Role

We are looking for anUG Technicianto join Resolution UG Operations & Maintenance team to support perform repairs inspections and maintenance activities associated with the shaft infrastructure.

This role is a great opportunity to become part of The Resolution Copper Company that is located in the historical Pioneer Mining District 60 miles east of Phoenix Arizona. Reporting to the UG Electrical Supervisor.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform repairs inspections and maintenance activities associated with the hoisting system
• Sling and rig equipment in and out of the shaft
• Operate a mobile crane for hoist system maintenance activities shaft logistics and truck loading/unloading
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials often exceeding 50 pounds
• Frequent bending stooping crawling and climbing
• Work at heights
• Ability to support your body weight and any additional load you might be carrying
• Maintain stability while ascending and descending
• Firm grip to hold onto the ladder rungs securely

About you

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work safely in confined underground environments while wearing required PPE
• Strong faultfinding problemsolving and communication skills
• Commitment to safety teamwork and operational excellence
• Current valid drivers license
• Be a team player who contributes and works with others to accomplish quality results

Where you will be working

Resolution Copper has the potential to supply nearly 25% of the US copper demand and create several thousand direct and indirect jobs in the Pioneer Mining District of Arizona with an economic value of several billion dollars over the estimated mine life.

The project will rely on a technique called block caving to extract the deposit that lies more than 2000 meters deep. This technique uses gravity to help remove the ore and is the most viable way to recover the resource.

Resolution Copper will continue underground development conduct extensive drilling and orebody testing plus maintain the permitting and public engagement process.
