Senior Specialist, Site EHS

The Role

Entegrisis seeking ahighlyinteractivehands-on EHSSite Leaderto manage all aspects of environmental health and safety (EHS)for theAmblerPAlocation.In this fast-paced environment you will champion EHS processes to drive the development of a world class safety culturein all operations research and development new product development andoffice functionsat all levels of the organization.

In this role you will

• Manage EHSoperationsin alignment with company business strategy andwithin assigned budget and manage risks to avoid unplanned impacts to company operations and Annual Operating Plan (AOP);

• Work with corporate EHS to developor modifyplan and implement site environmental health safety and security proceduresandprogramsto ensurealignment with Corporate EHS Policies goals and objectives.Ensurethesiteis responsible and complies with applicable EHSgovernmental regulations legal requirementsand handles all contact with appropriate agencies;

• Communicate the EHS management system structure and strategy to alldepartments;

• Communicate the role eachemployeeplays in satisfying the requirements ofEHSprograms;

• Drive cross functional activities with site leadership teams to continuously improve EHS processes that will enablealignmentof corporate programsandminimize the impact that compliance will have on the company;

• Drivecross-functionalcontinuous improvement activities with operators technicians engineers and front-line employees to create aworld classsafety culture;

• Manage site environmental health and safety teams including the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the site Safety Ergonomic and Environmental Committee. Select develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function;

• Ensure required regulatory and internal performance metric reports are submitted accurately and within established deadlines;

• Develop and oversee companyEHStraining programs forsiteemployees;

• Serve as point of contact with agency and governmental emergency personnel.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

• B.S. in EnvironmentalorSafety Scienceor B.S. Applied Sciences;

• Minimum of3-7years of directand progressiveEHSexperience within an industrial manufacturingand research and developmentenvironment.

• Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 a plus

Your success will be measured by

• Key performance indicators such as recordable injury rate lost and restricted workdays proactive EHS performance metrics; and execution of effective resolution to findings and recommendations from audits inspections and investigations;

• Consistently finds ways to add new value and mitigate risk by engaging employees in JSAs safe work permits hazard assessments; application of our Code of Business Ethics and Company policies in all our operations;

• Sets SMART goals and is dedicated to achieving them. Prioritizes actions based on team and business objectives and changing operating environments.
