Job Summary
Location: Paramus NJ (on-site visits)
Job Type: Contract / Part-Time (with potential for expanded hours)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Field Technician for a contract position supporting a medical office client in the Paramus NJ area. This role will begin with scheduled monthly on-site visits with the potential to expand into additional hours supporting other offices and nearby clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site desktop support and troubleshooting for end users
Assist with setup relocation and organization of computer equipment
Diagnose and resolve hardware and basic software issues
Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service during client interactions
Maintain clear communication with both client staff and internal team
Requirements:
Proven experience with on-site IT support and desktop troubleshooting
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills (high customer interaction role)
Ability to work independently and manage scheduled visits
Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in the Paramus area
Experience working in medical or other professional office environments is a plus
Additional Information:
This role starts with monthly visits with potential for increased hours as additional clients are added
Candidates should be flexible and open to taking on expanded responsibilities over time
