The University of Mary invites applications for a full-time 12-month position located at its Mary College at ASU campus. The Academic Life Coordinator of Mary College at ASU supports the growth and formation of students and seminarians within the University of Marys Arizona-based undergraduate programs. This individual is responsible for recruitment enrollment and retention of undergraduate students on-site in Tempe and will play a role in arranging and providing academic formation and front-office services relating to student accounts and communications. This individual will assist in the development planning and executing of student events and will be present at such events around campus and around the Newman Center to serve as a representative of the program modeling the Catholic imaginative vision and intellectual life in interactions with students. This individual will be responsible for arranging and executing recruitment visits to area high schools parishes and other events. This individual will occasionally be tasked with assisting in recruiting initiatives for the University of Marys Arizona-based graduate programs.
In sum the Academic Life Coordinator will serve as the key steward of the growth and development of a community of undergraduate scholars at Mary College at ASU through the recruitment and retention of students and the deepening of a culture of Catholic thought and life. During the academic year this individual lives in or near Tempe Arizona. The Academic Life Coordinator will participate in the academic programming of Mary College at ASU as needed and qualified.

Education Requirements:
Required: Masters degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred: Degree in Catholic Studies or related field
Qualifications:
Required: Demonstrable grasp of the Catholic imaginative and intellectual tradition
Preferred: 3 years of experience as a classroom instructor (high school or university level)
Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities.
Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality inthe Office of Academic Affairs and throughout the university in accord with Saint Benedicts admonition that all be received as Christ.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively plan balance and maintain a responsible budget
Ability to prepare professional educational and financial documents and reports using computers projectors and other electronic tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications
