About the Job The Senior Recruiter role at Salient provides an opportunity to work closely with Executive Leadership hiring managers and cross-functional teams to build and strengthen the organization through strategic talent acquisition. A successful Senior Recruiter will develop and maintain strong partnerships across the company and will be responsible for building robust talent pipelines that support both current hiring needs and future growth.

Job Description

The Senior Recruiters responsibility is to effectively attract assess and hire high-performing talent across sales technical and business functions. The successful Senior Recruiter will report to the HR Director and will be part of the broader leadership support structure of the organization. The HR Director will mentor and manage the efforts of the Senior Recruiter to maximize hiring effectiveness and quality of hire.

This role combines proactive sourcing for critical and recurring roles with a strong emphasis on activating internal networks and leveraging hiring manager relationships to build high-quality candidate pipelines. The Senior Recruiters objectives also include maintaining strong internal partnerships ensuring a consistent and structured hiring process and supporting long-term retention through thoughtful onboarding follow-up.


Hiring Manager Partnership & Talent Network Activation

The successful Senior Recruiter will have the following specific relationship responsibilities:

Executive Leadership & Hiring Managers These internal stakeholders are critical partners in the hiring process. The Senior Recruiter is responsible for conducting structured intake meetings defining measurable success profiles and aligning hiring expectations with business objectives. The Senior Recruiter will activate and leverage hiring managers professional networks develop targeted referral strategies and coach managers on proactive talent outreach. Regular communication and accountability will ensure a strong and sustainable talent pipeline.

Internal Cross-Functional Teams The Senior Recruiter will collaborate with HR Marketing and other internal stakeholders to support employer branding initiatives optimize recruiting tools and processes and ensure alignment across departments.

Candidates Once identified as qualified prospects candidates become the responsibility of the Senior Recruiter to guide through discovery evaluation interview coordination offer negotiation and onboarding transition. The Senior Recruiter will ensure a high-quality candidate experience from first contact through 90-day follow-up.


Pipeline Management & Recruiting Operations

The successful Senior Recruiter will manage an active requisition pipeline across multiple functions. The management of this pipeline is critical to organizational growth. Specific responsibilities include:

Proficiency in all aspects of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) use and maintenance.

Maintaining accurate candidate data hiring stage progression and interview feedback documentation.

Developing proactive sourcing strategies including identification of competitor organizations and relevant talent pools.

Monitoring sourcing channel effectiveness and adjusting strategy as needed.

Understanding near-term quarterly and longer-term hiring priorities to support workforce planning discussions.

Conducting structured 30/60/90-day follow-ups to assess quality of hire and early integration.

Requirements

Candidates


Required Experience

5 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience within a technology SaaS or related industry.

Bachelors degree or higher or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing techniques.

Proven history of successfully hiring for sales technical and business roles.

Experience partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers.


Required Skills

Excellent presentation abilities and written communication and speaking skills.

Proven skills to explain complex problems or solutions in an easy-to-understand way.

Demonstrated emotional intelligence that enables strong relationships with channel partners consultants technology partners end users and colleagues.

Demonstrated organizational skills and very high attention to detail.


Preferred Experience

Experience within video surveillance physical security technology or B2B SaaS environments.

Experience in a growth-stage organization (50300 employees).

Experience supporting executive-level hiring initiatives.
