Job Summary
description:
Sr. PharmacistCompounds prepares mixes manufactures and dispenses medicines using a high level of technical and organizational skills. Uses critical thinking abilities. Oversees the proper handling usage and storage of drugs in the pharmacy. Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies/procedures into daily operation and clinical activities. Supervises and trains assigned technical personnel and assumes responsibility for technical support activities within the pharmacy department.

Board certification (aka BCPS) preferred but not and Work Experience:Graduate of school of pharmacy: RequiredBachelors Degree: PreferredTwo years technical experience: PreferredTwo years experience as a clinical pharmacist specializing in a regulatory area: PreferredOne years hospital pharmacy experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Pharmacist license in the state of practice: RequiredAll licensures and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist at the state level: Required
