This role provides leadership within a team accountable for managing unbiased independent assessments of GT&Os current state technical capabilities as well as the management of horizontal regulatory exams and internal audits and risk assessments across GT&O. Responsibilities include establishment/maintenance of effective partnerships while ensuring an independent viewpoint through proper discipline; Managing the governance and oversight for GTO horizontal issues exams and audits; Managing routines to review all newly opened GT&O issues for potential horizontal impact and validating that those issues are not duplicative of any existing issues or audits; Creating and managing complex project plans with team and stakeholders for projects and programs as necessary; Leading full issue management of any issues owned by the horizontal team; Creating and managing of dashboard and governance reporting; Performing analysis of data to identify themes and potential common risks across GTO teams; Facilitating remediation and action plan tracking and reporting for Independent Technology assessments horizontal exams and audits across GTO teams; Assisting executive leaders with activities related to Independent Technology Assessments and Horizontal exams audits and issues; Documentation and ongoing maintenance of processes owned by the team.
The ITA team conducts in-depth assessments to independently validate technical capabilities and the underlying risks and strive to drive a culture of proactive risk identification ongoing improvement escalationdebate within Global work is dynamic and provides the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in leading multiple projects within different technical ideal candidate has technical and analytical aptitude leadership and risk management skills and the ability to leverage a broad network of partnerships across Global will have the opportunity to conduct assessments on critical focus areas sponsored by Sr. technology leaders intended to drive operational excellence and enhanced risk in this role will also share their experience and knowledge in coaching and developing members of the team.
Responsibilities:
Leverage analytical expertise and technology insight to guide and influence senior leadership
Drive the positioning of technology through an operational excellence and riskmanagement lens
Foster a culture focused on proactive risk identification and longterm risk mitigation
Apply strong analytical and technical acumen to evaluate capabilities processes and controls
Perform detailed analytical and technical testing across key Global Technology processes and procedures
Identify critical risks control gaps and opportunities for improvement grounded in sound riskmanagement principles
Manage complex initiatives with rigor discipline and consistent followthrough
Analyze data to uncover patterns common risks and trends that inform assessment scope across Global Technology
Engage the right subject matter experts and key stakeholders by leveraging experience relationships and organizational awareness
Influence crossfunctional partners to align on shared objectives and navigate diverse perspectives to determine optimal solutions
Excel in a highly collaborative teamoriented environment
Required Qualifications:
5 Years Experience analytical and technical experience with an ability to navigate the Global Technology organization and assess technical capabilities
Results-oriented leader who can achieve results across teams based on trust credibility teamwork and knowledge
Exhibits a working knowledge of Bank of America and Global Technology risk management / risk framework processes and tools; ability to identify debate and escalate risk
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate at an executive level
Working knowledge of process management and the ability to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of a process and corresponding controls
In depth project experience with an ability to apply structure and drive execution
Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on facts and evidence
Excellent sense of judgment knows when to escalate and how to manage expectations
Builds strong partnerships works across boundaries and effectively influences
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Has participated in design and/or implementation of major IT Risk Management or Process Improvement projects
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) with the ability to create executive level presentations
Leadership: Self-starter self-directed and shows initiative
