Essential Job Functions
- Serves as primary technical support for applications such asTransportationManagementSystem(TMS)
- Serves as expert ontransportationmanagement system(TMS)logic and functionality
- Ensures system integrity including setup and control processes
- Supports troubleshooting maintenance and optimization of existing software applications
- Interfaces with Operationsand Finance teamsto review issues or regular communicationtoOperations and internal departmentsregardingoperational issues process flows customer requirements etc. Includes analysis insight and recommendations
- Coordinates with other departments to resolve site technical issuesimpactingapplication use. Ensures issues are being addressed and resolvedin a timely manner
- Investigatesandrecommendsnew technologiesand information systemsappropriate forthe company where applicable
- Work with system providers or other departments to obtain costs for system enhancements
- Identifiesapplication improvement opportunities. Designs develops tests and implements changes or fixes for improving service levels reducing costs and providing operational enhancements
- Assistsin developing standardized and ad hocsite management and/or customer reporting. Analyzes discrepancies and implements changes or fixes
- Conducts feasibility analyses on application solutions processes and equipment
- Monitorssystem performance. Performs maintenance and backups as needed
- Supportscustomer facing integration and implementation projects
- Managesaction items between Crane and systems vendors
- Participatesin sales calls and future opportunities in the Contract Logistics pipeline
- Createsandmaintainsprocesses and procedures which are rolled out to local regional and global accounts as they relate to systems
- Creates andmaintainsapplication support documentation
- Continued learning of application capabilities configurations limitations etc. Continued learning of industry trends client requirements other applications available to support operations etc.
- Assistsin billing activities related to systems being supported
- Managesa team of resourcesinsupportoftheTransportationManagement Systems(TMS)or other applications where applicable
- Other duties as assigned

- Knowledgeable of warehouse operations and freight/logisticsoptimization
- Excellent planning time management collaboration decision making organization and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and document processes and procedures
- Proficient in the use of analytical techniques such as statistical probability distribution correlation data sampling and relating sets of numbers
- Ability to work well in a team environment collaborate with internal and external resources respond to questions from senior management and manage through conflict with a positive flexible attitude and professionalism
- Strong knowledge ofMicrosoftoffice especially ExcelandPowerBI

- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Job may require extended sitting or standing use of standard office equipment
Education & Experience
- BachelorsDegree in Business Administrationorrelated fieldrequired
- Minimum5yearsrelated experience
- Minimum 1 yearindustry experience preferred
Certification & Licenses
- Professional certification may be required in some areas
