Responsibilities

  • Proactively handle employee relations issues with staff and management
  • Keep up-to-date on applicable HR legislation and make recommendations for enhancements to employee handbooks
  • Work with Managers to coach develop and improve employees
  • Work with Managers on goal development and tracking for employees
  • Work with Legal team on development of contracts policies and all employment law matters
  • Manage exit process including terminations exit interview and all documentation
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior level HR team members
  • Administration and enhancement of existing HR programs
  • Develop implement and administer new HR programs
  • Assist with the development and promotion of the SOTI Employer Brand and Value Proposition both internally and externally
  • Work with leadership on process improvements and facilitating changes
  • Work with members of the HR team on learning and development initiatives talent acquisition events and projects and other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in HR role
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Experience with HRIS
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of organizational change culture transformation process and change management
  • Ability to prioritize high volume of projects
  • Ability to manage and complete tasks from start to finish
