Responsibilities
- Proactively handle employee relations issues with staff and management
- Keep up-to-date on applicable HR legislation and make recommendations for enhancements to employee handbooks
- Work with Managers to coach develop and improve employees
- Work with Managers on goal development and tracking for employees
- Work with Legal team on development of contracts policies and all employment law matters
- Manage exit process including terminations exit interview and all documentation
- Provide guidance and direction to junior level HR team members
- Administration and enhancement of existing HR programs
- Develop implement and administer new HR programs
- Assist with the development and promotion of the SOTI Employer Brand and Value Proposition both internally and externally
- Work with leadership on process improvements and facilitating changes
- Work with members of the HR team on learning and development initiatives talent acquisition events and projects and other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in HR role
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
- Experience with HRIS
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of organizational change culture transformation process and change management
- Ability to prioritize high volume of projects
- Ability to manage and complete tasks from start to finish
